Stockdale Baptist Church was established in 1912 as Friendship #1. For over a century Stockdale has been a lighthouse in this community. We have a three-fold purpose as a local church; that purpose is:
1) To Exalt The Savior (WORSHIP)
2) To Equip The Saints (DISCIPLESHIP)
3) To Evangelize the Sinners (EVANGELISM)
Throughout the past 110 years, there have been faithful pastors, devoted deacons, and many other loving & compassionate Christians who have helped carry out that mission. Because of their service, the vision that God placed in the hearts of a small group of believers over a century ago is thriving today.
